At this point, the NU innovation cluster has become a vibrant innovation hub in Kazakhstan which covers not only the city of Nur-Sultan but also the regions of Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries. Development of the Nazarbayev University innovation ecosystem that inspires and connects talented people and teams encourage innovation and creativity, cultivates entrepreneurship culture, thrives through synergy between science and business, helps to turn ideas into actions and bring innovative projects to the local and international markets. Since 2019 NURIS began to give startups pre-seed funding (up to KZT 3M).
